Gaia is more than a windsurfing center. You will mingle with the locals that work here and who can share with you the many secrets of this magical village. We have a lot of activities, including football, basketball, hockey, horse riding, ecological tours, motorcycling through the dunes, dune buggy rides, etc. Jeri is a very peaceful place. Everybody is very friendly. We pride ourselves on giving you our best personalized service, and will work with you to find an answer to all your needs, from getting you great accommodations that fit your needs to finding you a great massage by an excellent massage therapist, etc. After your windsurfing sessions you can have a cool shower at the club and get access to wi-fi internet. At our restaurant you can taste fresh shrimp or fish made by a local fisherman’s daughter, enjoy a tangiroska in the shade, and try the best hamburger of your life!!!!!

WINDSURFING SCHOOL
Whether you are a beginner or an expert, we offer private lessons adjusted to your level. We can teach you the first steps or the latest freestyle moves. We are the most active windsurfing school in Jeri. So even in the low-wind season, when some wind comes up, we are in the water. All of our instructors are locals. Jeri has a different landscape every month, so it is very important for the instructor to know the beach (current, water holes, tides etc). Beginners will have an instructor full time in the water with them, and there is one instructor for each student. Safety comes first. A beginner course costs 75 Euro for a 4 hours course done over the course of 2 days. The equipment is complementary for all beginner lessons. It is great fun!

RESTAURANT
In addition to being a windsurfing rental club, Gaia is also one of the finest restaurants in Jericoacoara, located right on the beach. We have the best fresh seafood; the chef -manager of the restaurant is the daughter of a local fisherman and buys fresh fish and shrimp every day. You will notice the difference between fresh sea shrimp and farm shrimp. We still have more than 30 fishermen in town; you will see them arrive every morning coming back from the sea.
LOCATION
The Gaia windsurfing rental club and restaurant are located right on the beach at the end of the street Do Forro, which is the beach’s best location, at the end of the village and at the beginning of the action.

HOURS OF OPERATION
We are open 365 days a year from 8 AM to 6 PM. Our restaurant is open until later in the evening.
